Apple introduces iPhone at MacWorld

Apple iPhoneAccording to apple.com, iPhone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching into one small and lightweight handheld device.

iPhone features a rich HTML email client and Safari — the most advanced web browser ever on a portable device — which automatically syncs bookmarks from your PC or Mac.

After reading about the iPhone on their website  I have to say I can hardly wait to see the device in person.  Unfortunately the product will not be available until June 2007 in the United States, but until then I’m sure there will be a lot of hype around the product.

Yes, I must get one (like everyone else is saying). Too bad I have to wait until my current phone contract expires in January ‘08! ToT

It sounds like Apple even upstaged the Consumer Electronics Expo!

I was reading up on the iPhone this week and I saw that Apple will be updating the phone sometime within the first year it’s out. So I’m now thinking about waiting until at least version 2.0 is out before buying.

That’s interesting that they are already talking about iPhone 2.0. I’m sure it will have less bugs and a few additional features not released in this first version.
